Access to the beach is super easy and the carpark is just a short walk away. Go swimming, fishing and snorkelling in the unspoilt water and then cook up a storm on the barbecues to keep fuelling the adventure for the day. This beach and campsite is located in wildlife-filled Booderee National Park and there are plenty of activities that will keep the entire family busy and entertained all day long.

Be sure to keep an eye out for our gorgeous pods of dolphins who love to frequent this stretch of coastline.įor a lovely escape into nature, it doesn’t get much better than Green Patch Beach. A stone’s throw to the north, you’ll find Callala Bay – an excellent spot for the entire family to snorkel through the pristine sea or explore the surrounds by kayak. Famous for its sparkling, white sands, gentle waves and inviting waters, it’s a great place for a relaxing swim and a family beach picnic. Callala Beach is a peaceful haven that’s often quiet and uncrowded, even though it’s actually the longest beach in the bay. These charming coastal villages are nestled side by side along the northern shores of Jervis Bay and are excellent swimming spots for families with young kids.

Settle in for some family fun at Callala Bay & Callala Beach. We’ve compiled a list of our best bays and quiet inlets for the entire clan to explore and enjoy. They’re often far less crowded than the bigger beaches and the calmer waves are perfect for little ones who are only just starting to find their sea legs. This year, though, do something a little different with the family and head to some of our smaller watering holes. The weather is warming up and we’re all getting ready for those lazy summer days by the beach.
